Applications are invited from competent, resourceful and bonafide Consulting Agencies/ Consortia of Consulting Agencies for conducting FEASIBILITY STUDY backed up by preliminary demand survey for expansion, up-gradation, operation, maintenance, marketing and management of the Convention Centre of Science City located at JBS Haldane Avenue, Kolkata, in a time bound manner.

Please take note that on June 22, 2010 at 11.30 A.M. the envelopes no.1 (technical offer) shall be opened at 7th floor Conference Room of National Council of Science Museums, Sector-V, Block-GN, Bidhan Nagar, Kolkata-700 091.  In the 1st stage, the technical bids shall be opened in presence of the representatives of the participating agencies in order to check if the envelopes contain the documents and the amounts mentioned in the pre-offer document issued by NCSM.  The NCSM authorities reserve the right to disqualify any agency if the documents and the deposits/fees are not found in place.  The agencies will also be informed of the criteria for evaluation for determination of eligibility. 

The actual evaluation will be done by a technical committee later, during which presence of the representatives of the agencies shall not be necessary. 

Tenders are invited from reputed agencies for the Acoustic treatment of Auditorium and Renovation work at Regional Science Centre, Guwahati, Assam at an estimated cost of Rs. 13.54 lakh. Agencies having proven experience and capability may obtain the prescribed format for pre-qualification of contractors from the above address. The pre-qualification form can also be down loaded from our official website: www.ncsm.org.in or www.ncsm.gov.in. Tender papers shall be distributed only to such agencies, who are considered competent to handle such special type of works. Decision of the Council in this regard shall be final and binding. The duly filled in pre-qualification form may be sent to the above address so as to reach latest by 12.07.2010.

Sealed Tenders are invited from reputed manufacturers/authorised dealers for supply of self-colour anodized Aluminium Extruded Display Sections strictly as per the Council’s drawings and specifications. Firms having proven experience and capability of executing the order at a time may obtain Tender Papers from this office on any working day or directly download the same from website www.ncsm.gov.in. Sealed tenders duly accompanied by Earnest Money of Rs.50, 000/- will be received at this office up to August 06, 2010. Late/delayed tenders shall not be acceptable. Tenders shall be opened at 4 p.m. on August 07, 2010. NCSM reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders in full or in part without assigning any reason whatsoever.
